Enjoy a mini-cruise on board P&O's Bride of Bilbao followed by six or eight nights in the popular resort of Salou.

 

On Board Facilities

There's never a dull moment as you cruise to Spain on the Pride of Bilbao. When you've done all of the eating, drinking, shopping or strolling on deck that you can, there are plenty of other things to keep you occupied. During the day, why not pamper yourself in our health spa and beauty salon. Nature lovers can spot dolphins and whales from our observation deck as we sail you through the Bay of Biscay.

The Pride of Bilbao offers fabulous entertainment with something for everyone! The Show Bar offers marvellous West End style shows with a first class cast of singers and dancers. We have plenty of daytime events and competitions and in the evenings our late night DJ keeps the dance floor packed until the early hours whilst our POSH bar offers the delights of our resident piano/vocalist.

We also have onboard cinemas showing the latest box office smashes. If you're feeling lucky then why not take a trip to the casino and the slot machines? Kids will be entertained with our onboard kids club.

 

Bars & Restaurants

With a choice of bars and restaurants, there is something for everyone onboard the Pride of Bilbao - whether you choose the Four Seasons with its carvery and buffet-style dining, the less formal International Food Court or if you prefer to dine in style, why not try Mayfair's famous Langan's Brasserie, with the highest quality food and wine served to your table. Plus our onboard coffee shops serve a selection of light snacks and pastries - as well as a wide range of hot and cold drinks, including the famous Costa Coffee.

 

Your Cabin.....

All prices on our Portsmouth-Bilbao service include a comfortable standard cabin with the option to upgrade to a sea view for a small supplement. For the ultimate in luxury, you can really treat yourself and indulge in a Club cabin.

Located throughout the ship, our 2, 3 or 4 berth ensuite cabins have beds or bunks and a choice of either inside or sea view.

All our ensuite Club cabins have a sea view and are located in a quiet section of the ship. You'll enjoy more space and a range of extras including a colour television, fresh fruit, plus tea and coffee making facilities in your cabin.

    salou

    Situated at the southernmost tip of the Costa Dorada, Salou  is a favourite resort of British holidaymakers.  It boasts a two mile stretch of soft white sand gently sloping into the glittering bay, ideal for children and non-swimmers. There are plenty of shops, bars and cafes along the tree-lined avenues of the resort and there is also a picturesque old quarter. Also situated within close proximity of the resort is the Port Aventura theme park, Barcelona and the pretty fishing town of Cambrils.

     

    Your Itinerary

    Day 1 - Collection from your local departure point.  Travel to Portsmouth in our luxury coach, arriving at Portsmouth in the evening for your mini-cruise on board the Pride of Bilbao.
    Day 2 - Spent at sea, a perfect chilled-out start to your holiday!  As the ship passes the Bay of Biscay you will have the chance to enjoy the many facilities on board
    Day 3 - Arrive in Bilbao in the morning and re-join our coach to commence the approx seven hour journey across Southern Spain to Salou.  
    Days 4-8 (May departure)  - At leisure in Salou.
    Days 4-10 (July & September departures) - At leisure in Salou
    Day 9-10 (May)/Days 11-12 (July & Sept)  - Depart Salou in the evening, after dinner.  Board our coach once more and travel overnight to Bilbao where we arrive in the early morning.  You will then have chance to spend some time in the town before boarding the Pride of Bilbao in the early afternoon for your overnight cruise back to Portsmouth.  
    Day 11/13 Arrival back at Portsmouth in the evening and transfer back to your local drop-off point.

    Prices Include:

    • Coach transportation
    • 3 nights on-board 'Pride of Bilbao' in a standard 2 berth cabin with an en-suite shower room and WC (towels and bed linen are included) Please note that no meals are included whilst on board the ship.
    • 6 or 8 or nights accommodation in Salou
    • NB. Overnight/Day Bag : As your main luggage will not be unloaded at Portsmouth, we suggest that you take a small bag/holdall (as space inside the cabin is limited) with your onboard requirements for 2 nights and 1 day, i.e. spare clothes, wash bag, medication etc.
    Please note: There is no on-board hostess service for these holidays. Refreshments will be served by your drivers.
